Unwin Titan range is capable of restraining transportable wheelchairs up to 200kg.

  • The rear tie-downs comprise longer and stronger webbing to fit the design of the respective chairs.
  • A bespoke double plunger mechanism evenly spreads the weight of the chair.
  • The rear restraints are fitted with Snaplock fixings for fast and efficient securement of the wheelchair.
  • An additional occupant restraint is required for the wheelchair passenger.

Titan 4: Restraint for Invacare TDX, Typhoon and Typhoon II.
The Unwin 200kg wheelchair restraints have all been dynamically tested to international standard ISO 10542-5 and ISO 7176-19.

IMPORTANT: Users of the TITAN tiedown systems must refer to the wheelchair manufacturer’s ‘Ins-tructions For Use in Transport’ for full details of tiedown attachment points on the wheelchair, and any other specific instructions relating to use in transport.
