NEW SALES ADVISOR AT UNWIN

NEW sales advisor with more than 20 years’ experience in customer service has joined the Unwin Safety Systems team.

Tracy Poole worked for BT for 15 years and for a specialist insurance company for six years.

At Unwin she has been learning how the highest quality wheelchair safety systems are made, distributed and used.

‘It’s a very friendly, very nice, very well-managed company,’ said Tracy. ‘My induction has been very good. I’ve been all round the factory, I’ve met every single person who works here, everybody gets on well, everybody treats each other with respect and it’s a team, a real team.’

Tracy has built products together, been out to see how they are used in the real world, and excelled on Unwin’s Intermediate Training Level 2 course, which is aimed at drivers and passenger assistants with experience in accessible transport.

She said: ‘It’s all helped with the learning process, and it means that if I get asked questions about all sorts of things then I can assist people.’

She is one of Unwin’s three main sales advisors along with Roxanne Parsons and Gary Cox.

She said: 'I like it here. It's very interesting and it's very worthwhile.'
